Halloween

Apparently, this is a big deal holiday here at Elkhorn. The Millers' two girls invite friends and they trick-or-treat around to all the crew cabins. I never would have thought about it but what else could they do? It would be a very loooong walk to the next house on  the block! (Did I mention the "driveway" is 7 miles?) After the candy collecting, everyone heads back to the dining room for a huge party. This all means that I have to dress up, in a costume. Some of you know I've never loved Halloween so that's a challenge. Jen and Jillian have solved my problem, however, by deciding that I should be a wood nymph fairy---lots of brown and green flowy stuff and wings and flowers. We'll see if we can pull that off... Tomorrow we're going to town (Tucson) to buy costume stuff and also boots and cowboy hats!
